My friend started cutting...
it's so sad. Her boyfriend cheated on her with her best friend. Well ex best friend now.
And i hate seeing her so depressed..it's so sad. Crying or Very sad

Even though I cut occasionally, I really don't know how to help her.
i wouldn't say she's cutting bad. But just the idea of it is really depressing
I know it's gonna get worse though.
Is there any advice you guys can give mer, so I can do something to help her..

i too used to cut and it took my mom and friends steeping in and telling me how worried they were about me to get me out of it. let her know that she's not alone. let her know that you are there for her. show her she's too good for him.
in every relationship i've ever been in, i have gotten cheated on, but i hav enevr cheated. if he's gonna do that to her, he doesn't deserve her...the best thing you can do is be her support and get her out before she gets in too deep

The BEST advice that I feel I can give is this:
People learn by example.
ALWAYS keep that in mind.
Let's play a game of "Follow the Leader"
Player: Taylor Position: Leader
Your friend: follower( rightfully given because I feel like that's almost what she did)

First of all, you need to let your friend know that more than likely will not be the last time she's going to be cheated on!!!
We live in a world where even though faithfulness is great, it's too difficult/uncommon for many people.

SO TELL HER TO EXPECT THAT!!!!

Next, she needs to know that there's no way in hell that that guy was SO fucking great that she has to hurt herself for him!!! Didin't he already do the damage?
That's what I thought.

More than likely, the two of them weren't good/compatible with each other!
So the breakup should be seen as a good thing & a learning experience.

NOW:
TAYLOR, listen up, Missy. You, my friend, have to be very strong, and end YOUR cutting. You got me?
There's no way that a cutter is going to listen to another cutter telling her to stop.
Cause her thought is "If it's so fuckin bad, why the hell are you doing it?

So you two need to help each other out.
You know, it's a mutual situation then.
PLUS, her following your lead should give you a great sense of power that you will appreciate, Taylor!
I know you have it in you. Don't waste time, & put all of that into action right now.
