what if you're torn between your friend and her/his ex that you've been wanting since the day they started dating but you didnt tell your friend though. and now this person wants to date you, what would you do?

pretty much of my classmate's situation she needs advice.

I've had friends that have chosen a guy over me, and for what?! To eventually break up with them and then have no friend left?
I mean, to chose a guy over a friend is pretty weak. Everyone needs love, etc, but everyone needs loyalty too.

Or you can look at it like this:
Is my friend worth possibly losing?
If the answer to that question is yes, then by all means go for the bro.

That's a no brain-er. The only person that would choose the guy is someone selfish, or looking for some sort of revenge and/or self-esteem booster (which won't help) So yeah, stick with your friend.
